"I had such an amazing experience completing my online course for Healthcare Professions with Access2Uni. Every week, there were live sessions where our tutor took the time to explain each assignment in detail. He also helped me prepare for my university interviews. Our student support officer worked closely with us to make sure our UCAS applications were completed to a high standard and ready to be submitted. I felt supported throughout the entire course."

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a recognised qualification?
Yes. The Access to HE Diploma is a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), awarded through LASER Learning Awards, and accepted by UK universities. It is specifically designed to help adults progress into higher education.
Can I do this if I work full time?
Absolutely. The course is designed for busy adults. You can study fully online and at your own pace. We recommend dedicating around 3 hours per day (about 15–20 hours per week) to make consistent progress.
Do I need to attend in person?
No, the course is 100% online. You can study from anywhere, at any time, using our secure virtual learning platform. We also host optional live workshops and Q&A sessions for extra support. We are also moving to hybrid provision: if you would like to study in person, there will be the option to do so at one of our education facilities in east London.
How long does the course take?
Most learners complete the course within 6 to 12 months, depending on how much time they dedicate each week. You can study faster or slower, the course is fully flexible around your schedule.
Are there exams?
No. Assessment is 100% coursework. You can submit a draft of each assignment for feedback before your final submission, so you always know what's expected.
How much does it cost?
Course fees range from £1,500 to £4,000 depending on the diploma you choose (see each course above). Every fee includes all your modules and assessments, a designated personal tutor for feedback and support, draft review before final submissions, university application and UCAS support, and career mentoring and work experience guidance. For comparison, most colleges charge around £3,000, and universities charge up to £9,000 for similar foundation year programmes.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. Every course can be paid in monthly instalments, for example three monthly payments of £500 for the Healthcare Professions diploma, through our secure Stripe payment system.
Can I get student finance or a government loan?
We do not offer Advanced Learner Loans for our courses. Instead, we keep our fees affordable and transparent so you can clearly understand the full cost of study before enrolling.
I don't have GCSE English or Maths. Can I still apply?
Yes. We offer Ofqual regulated Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, awarded by PASS, which universities accept as GCSE equivalents. You can study them alongside your diploma.
Will you help with UCAS applications?
Yes. We provide full UCAS support: we send your predicted grades and academic reference through UCAS, guide you through your personal statement, and make sure your application stands out to university admissions teams.
Do you provide assignment support?
Yes. We're committed to your success. You can submit a draft of each assignment for feedback before submitting your final version, so you understand expectations and can achieve your best possible grade.
What support will I receive?
You'll have a designated personal tutor for feedback and support, one-to-one academic guidance, and career mentoring, from your first assignment to your university offer.
Can you help me find work or shadowing experience?
Yes. Access2Uni has strong connections with healthcare settings across London. We can help arrange shadowing or work experience opportunities, giving you valuable clinical insight and university-ready experience.
What are the entry requirements?
You must be aged 19 or over with a good standard of English and Maths (GCSE grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2, which we also offer). No formal Level 3 qualifications are required, we'll assess your suitability and support you to get started confidently.
